Why am I being redirected to Cellware when I try to go to other domains?
Cellware may have bought certain domains that you try to reach if you’re redirected here.
Some domains provide their users with a way listen to free music by creating their own playlists of links that lead back to the main library of available songs. Now that those domains are nonexistent, those users’ playlists simply do not work anymore.
Not to fear! The buyer of those domains (Cellware) also provides users with a number of free tracks, ringtones, wallpapers, and videos from Signed and Unsigned Artists in our constantly growing collection to our users absolutely FREE downloading. Enjoy!?
Fees and Charges
Is Cellware really FREE?
Yes! Cellware is 100% free. All the content offered is FREE!
Cellware’s revenue is advertising based, not member generated. Cellware enables the user to respond to offers and advertisements or obtain content offered by partners. You may incur charges from partners or advertisers when you respond to their offers, but you will not incur any charges from Cellware.
Would I have to pay any content delivery fees?
Cellware does not charge for the delivery of content, but standard or other charges may apply from your carrier. Please check your plan to make sure.
Because all phone plans are different, members are encouraged to verify plan limitations prior to downloading digital entertainment media. Cellware is not responsible for charges incurred on your phone bill from your carrier. Many phones and carriers provide internet access as a part of their monthly plans. If a plan does not include internet access as part of the monthly fees, your carrier may charge you for the internet access needed to download the ringtones, wallpapers, videos, games or applications. Charges may also incur from text messages sent with verification code numbers, if texts are not included in your phone service plan. Many carriers include text messaging and internet access to mobile phones as part of their monthly fees. If this is the case, Cellware content should not affect your billing payments in any way.
To cancel text messages from Cellware, reply STOP to any Cellware message you receive. For help, text HELP to 88188 or email support@cellware.com. Movoxx delivers messages on our behalf.
I was charged on my cell phone bill, who charged me?
Our site is free of charge but the Cellware service contains advertisements. Participating in advertised offers may result in you having to pay for their services.
If you subscribe to one of our advertiser’s services and would like to cancel you must contact the advertiser directly. Please check your phone bill, confirmation text from the advertiser or the contact information displayed on the advertiser’s link for more information.
Carriers
What carriers do you support?
Cellware supports most US carriers. Our current supported carriers are:
• AT&T
• Verizon Wireless (restricted to certain phone models)
• T-Mobile
• Sprint
• Alltel
• Boost Mobile
• Virgin Mobile
• Cellular One
• Cincinnati Bell
• Nextel
• US Cellular
Despite the fact that not all carriers are supported, Cellware supplies workarounds to get content to phones connected by other service providers. See our downloading issues section for workarounds on how to get content.
What countries do you support?
Our site currently provides services only to those phones with carriers in the United States. We are working hard to expand our services outside of the USA. Check back often for further updates on our international expansion.
My Carrier is not listed on your site, but I have internet access on my phone. Will Cellware work for me ?
If your carrier is not supported you won’t be able to receive an SMS (text message), but after you click the “Send To Phone” button on Cellware, your content will be sent to “My Downloads” on the mobile site. Simply go to your browser, type (http://m.cellware.com/), enter your user id and password, and click on “My Downloads”. Select the content you want from there.
I have a supported carrier, but cannot get my content. Why?
Some carriers have disabled the ability of their cellphones to download ringtones. We have provided a list of those carriers:
Nextel
Boost Mobile
Telus Mobility
Verizon Wireless
* Although these carriers don’t allow ringtones to be downloaded, you can download wallpapers and other content from Cellware. We are working hard internally and with many of these carriers to supply content to as many members as possible, so keep checking our site.
Phones
Here is a list of phones that don’t work for ringtones because the carriers have disabled the ability to use downloaded songs as ringtones:
- Apple iPhone
- Audiovox CDM-8915 (Snapper)
- Audiovox CDM-8945
- Cricket (all)
- Kyocera KX9 (OYSTR)
- LG VX5200
- LG VX8100
- LG VX9800 (The “V”)
- Nokia 6236I

* If you have one of the noted phone models you may still be able to download other Cellware content. As long as your phone can receive text messages and access the internet or receive PIX messages (Verizon Wireless, and US Cellular), you should be able to get Cellware content.
Because our content is FREE, you have absolutely nothing to lose! The best way to find out if you can get content is to give it a try. Good luck and Enjoy!
Why isn’t my phone available in the profile list?
We are constantly adding to our phone list. If your phone is not listed, choose “other” and you will still be able to receive content.
Downloading Issues
After I download content, I can’t find the media in my phone to set as my wallpaper or ringtone, where can I find it?
Since every phone is different, you have to look at your phone’s documentation to see where the download gets stored and if your phone allows you to choose downloaded content as a ringtone or wallpaper.
Not all phone models support all file formats. Check your phone documentation for file format support. We have workarounds to deliver content to most phones, check the general questions in the FAQ above for more information. If you think it’s a technical problem please let us know ASAP and provide us with as much information as possible in order to resolve the problem: support@cellware.com
There is a workaround for many Verizon Wireless phones, including the LG Voyager. To get a ringtone follow these directions:
I am having trouble with the Cellware website using Internet Explorer on a Mac.
Microsoft no longer supports Internet Explorer on Mac, so we can’t support it either. Here’s the scoop straight from Microsoft:
“Accordingly, as of January 31st, 2006, Internet Explorer for the Mac is no longer available for download from Microsoft. It is recommended that Macintosh
users migrate to more recent web browsing technologies such as Apple’s Safari”.
Why can’t I get games?
Currently Cellware games are not supported for the following carriers and/or devices:
Carriers:
• Verizon Wireless
• Alltell
• T-Mobile
Devices:
• Blackberry
• Symbian
• Apple
• Palm
* If your carrier is supported and you still can’t get games, let us know: support@cellware.com
Creating Content
What does original content mean?
Original means that you own all applicable rights to distribute content. This usually means that you are the artist who did the creating. If you bought a song or CD from a store, this does not mean that you can share it with others. For more information, see our Terms of Use.
We have written step by step directions and video editorials for all of the Cellware tools. Check them out below!
Coming soon…
Why do I have to be 13 years old to join Cellware?
For legal reasons we cannot allow any person younger than 13 years of age to join our site. Sorry, wait a few more years.
Can everyone see my private info (phone number, age, etc.)?
No! Users can only see your public profile. You can see for yourself by logging in, going to your profile and clicking on the button that indicates “My Public Profile”.
