What do I need to get started?
Simply complete our 14 second registration form, upload your music, cut your sound byte, and upload the code to any webpage of your choosing. You're ready to ROCK! Creating ringtones has never been this EASY!
Where do you suggest that I promote the ringtones I’ve just created?
Some of our most successful MyMojo Indies are promoting their content on their blog, social networking profile, website, and even offline (like at their concert.) You can also use our widget to embed ringtones to any webpage of your choosing.
How much does it cost to join the MyMojo Indie network?
You might want to sit down for this one... it's completely FREE! No contracts, no subscriptions, no catches. Yup. Our motto has always been that if the best things in life are free, then why should we charge for such a sweet product?... Especially when it's already your music!
Will I need to download anything?
That's a negative. All of our tools are available online 24/7. So no need to worry about downloading nasty viruses on your computer.
Can I charge fans and get paid for selling my ringtones?
At this time, MyMojo Indies can only give away their music for free. It may be true that there's no such thing as a free lunch, but a free ringtone? Why not!
So then how can I earn money?
Each month we offer a revenue pool of up to $100,000 for MyMojo Indies. To claim your piece of the revenue pool, simply get your fans to download your ringtones. The greater the number of times your ringtone is downloaded, the more money you are eligible to earn.
How much will I earn?
Each time a member downloads a piece of your content (ringtone, wallpaper, track, or video) from any one of our network of websites, you will gain a point. At the end of each month, your points will be totaled. This total will then be divided by the sum of all MyMojo Artists’ monthly points. This amount will yield the percentage of the current month’s revenue pool which you are entitled. The revenue pool is composed of half of our monthly revenue after a 15% operations cost has been deducted.
Does MyMojo Indie help overcome music piracy?
At MyMojo Indie we understand that piracy is a big concern. As people search for new ways to pirate music and share their files at no cost, the artist realizes shrinking sales volume and lower profits. Music industry reports state that for each (1) track purchased by a fan, 50 to 100 more copies are illegal downloaded. This accounts for a HUGE amount of lost revenue.
Fortunately, after you join MyMojo Indie, there is no need for fans to pirate you music. YOU CAN GIVE AWAY YOUR MUSIC FOR FREE AND STILL MAKE MONEY. After factoring in lost revenue from piracy and the small cut an artist earns from the sale of online music, the money you earn from sharing your music on My Mojo Indie can be FAR, FAR GREATER!
Can I track the number of times my ringtone has been downloaded?
Sure thing. After logging in to your account, simply visit your profile page to see how many people have downloaded your ringtones. We always strive to keep you totally “in the loop.”
How and when will I get paid?
In order to get paid for promoting your ringtones, you must have a PayPal account and provide us with your info. You will receive your earnings on or around the 15th of the month. These earnings will account for the previous month's downloads.
